In March 2021, we took a drive through the mountains and came across the Mora Inn and RV Park, a property that has been in operation since 1977. Within weeks, we arranged a visit, walked the grounds, and instantly knew this would be a meaningful journey. A few months later, we became the proud owners—Serica and John—of what is now the Historic Mora Inn & RV Park.

As members of the Abeyta family, whose roots run deep in New Mexico and whose name carries a legacy intertwined with both Spanish and Indigenous heritage, this venture is more than a business—it’s a continuation of tradition.

We are a small, family-owned and operated business. As new owners, we are gradually revitalizing the property one project at a time. We have remodeled and redecorated the guest rooms, each featuring a unique artistic touch. You can also experience mountain living by reserving our Tiále Tiny Home, a cozy and inviting retreat perfect for a peaceful stay.

Nestled in the heart of Northern New Mexico, our location offers easy access to a wide range of outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy hiking through scenic trails, fishing in nearby streams and lakes, hunting in designated areas, and skiing in the winter months.
